Jones Onyereri Ph.D, Imo State PDP candidate for Imo West Senatorial District (Orlu Zone) was honoured with an Award of Honour as the “Pillar of Support” to the Church of God by the Lord Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Orlu, His Lordship, The Rt. Rev. Benjamin C. Okeke JP, as SS Peter and John The Divine Divine, Nkwerre Celebrated her 38th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service of the Diocese.

Dr. Jones used that opportunity to enlighten the congregation through the scripture on the need the church must be concerned and participate actively on the 2023 general election in Nigeria, especially in Imo West Senatorial District. In a special way, Dr. Jones thanked His Lordship, The Rt. Rev. B. C. Okeke JP alongside the Preacher of the sermon, Rev. Canon Angus Ezirim and Archdeacons alongside all the clergy of the Diocese and in his wisdom and humility, he dedicated the award to the entire good people of Orlu Zone for a fresh breathe come 2023. Dr. Jones assured the Congregation of a better Orlu Zone under his watch when elected as their Senator come 2023.
