Ex lawmaker, Athan Achonu, has called on Nigerians irrespective of tribe and religion to support Peter Obi of the Labour Party to emerge the next president of the country.
Achonu who spoke in Owerri, Imo State, on Sunday, when he visited the state leadership of LP ahead of Obi’s visit to the state on Tuesday, said that Obi possessed the requisite qualities to re engineer Nigeria.
Achonu said that the present and future of any nation were dependent on the kind of a leader that steers its affairs.
He called on the people of the state to come out in millions to accord Obi a warm reception at Kanu Nwankwo sports stadium in Owerri tomorrow .
