Imo East Senatorial District, Owerri Zone, representative in the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi has said his inclination to constituency projects that are populist in nature, is because of the awareness that one day he will account to God how he managed opportunities given him.
The LP candidate for Imo.East Senatorial district in next months general elections, spoke at St Michael Anglican Church, Alulu, Ngor Okpala Local Government Area. Imo State, when he received the award of “Omere Oha Nile Nke Mbu/ Ezi Enyi Puru Iche” of St Michael Anglican church.
Senator Onyewuchi explained that as a result of the certainly of stewardship account he has focused more attention on projects like schools, electricity, markets and civic centres, which usually impact communities and villages.
He said it was in pursuit of that goal that he decided to provide light to the church to lessen the difficulty the clergy and church members face in the course of serving God.

Earlier, the priest in charge of the church had lauded the lawmaker for deeming it necessary to positively contribute to growth of the church and God’s evangelism.
He disclosed that for long Nigerians have been asking questions about when the country will be salvaged and those who will carry out the onerous task, pointing out that from the massive support and interest the biblically rooted obident political movement is garnering and generating within and outside the country, the appointed time for Nigeria salvation may have come.
He urged Christians to go out and get their PVC which is the only power they have to do away with those responsible for calamitous state of the country, and also vote in those who have proven beyond doubts their preparedness to enthrone a new Nigeria, warning that failure to arrest the ugly situation now could prove disastrous tomorrow.
The occasion which was witnessed by teeming supporters of the lawmaker and members and leaders of LP in the council, as well as prominent sons and daughters of Alulu Community, had in attendance LP Candidates for Ngor Okpala/Aboh Mbaise Federal Constituency and Ngor Okpala State Constituency in Imo Assembly, Dr Matthew Nwogu and M Joel Okere.
