As the 25th February, 2023 National Assembly election draws closer, it’s a time and day for the electorates (Orlu Zone Sons and daughters) to elect the man of Strength, Character, Courage, Competence, Pedigree, Accountability, Accessibility, Honesty, Transparency, Humility, Fear of God, Conscience, Strong Voice, Political Prowess and Know-how for the Betterment of Ndi Orlu Zone and that man is, RT. HON. DR. JONES ONYERERI (OLILE ANYA NDI ORLU ZONE) 2023.
As we all know, there are four Federal Constituencies in Orlu Zone namely:
IDEATO NORTH AND IDEATO SOUTH FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY: This Federal Constituency is currently holding sway for Orlu Zone at the Senate with Sen. Rochas Okorocha
ORLU| ORSU| ORU EAST FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY: This Federal Constituency held sway for Orlu Zone at the Senate for 8 years with Sen. Hope Uzodinma
OHAJI/EGBEMA| OGUTA| ORU WEST FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY: This Federal Constituency held sway for Orlu Zone at the Senate with Late Sen. Arthur Nzeribe for 8 years and handed over to Sen. Osita Izunaso for 4 years.
And the largest Federal Constituency being NKWERRE| ISU| NWANGELE| NJABA, (NINN) is yet to have a taste of the Senatorial Seat and by the virtue of Equity and Fairness , NINN should be allowed to go as they have unanimously presented their beloved son in whom they are well pleased being Rt. Hon. Jones Onyereri, Ph.D to be the tool for a better and greater Orlu Zone.
Dearest Orlu Zone electorates, this is not a time for you to listen to those with nothing in stock for you and the entire Ndi Orlu Zone. It is a time to do away with gibberish and petty campaign of calumny. It is a time for issue based campaign. We have done enough theory in this space. You all have heard series of “I WILL” instead of “I DID” from those jostling for the soul of Orlu Zone. The track records and antecendents of DR. JONES speak volume till date even while out of Government, Dr. Jones has continued to impact in the lives of Ndi Orlu Zone. While out of government, he has Empowered over 500 Orlu sons and daughters.
Mmiri Na Anwu’s track record remains unbeaten amongst his Co Contestants.
As a former Reps member, he did very well in every sector of the economy, namely ;
1. HEALTH: Health they say is Wealth and a healthy man is a wealthy man. In health sector of his Federal Constituency, Mmiri Na Anwu was the first to introduce Annual Medical Outreach in our Orlu Zone and in each of his Medical Outreach, over 1,000 persons were treated of different kinds of ailments , Free of charge.
2. AGRICULTURE: Mmiri Na Anwu Nke Ndi Orlu Zone trained and empowered over 400 sons and daughters of his Federal Constituency and beyond in different areas of Agriculture.
3. EDUCATION: In Education, Mmiri Na Anwu did wonders, he performed more than all the Reps member from Orlu Zone and beyond. Mmiri Na Anwu did annual scholarship for his Constituents. Dr. Jones built and furnished series of classroom blocks in his Federal Constituency. It’s on record that Dr. Jones built the best Secondary School in Orlu Zone, a wonder to behold and furnished completely. This is a school that has all the learning equipment and facilities with solar light everywhere and teacher’s quarter.
4. SKILL ACQUISITIONS: Dr. Jones, has the highest number of EMPOWERMENT to his people through Skill Acquisitions. A lot were trained in different areas of human endeavors.
5. EMPLOYMENT: Dr. Jones Onyereri Strategically secured juicy jobs for his people virtually in the major financial sectors of Nigeria.
6. EMPOWERMENT: Dr. Jones remains the tutor that taught his colleagues the need for EMPOWERMENT of Constituents.
7. ELECTRICITY/POWER: Dr. Jones did marvelously well in this area too. He distributed and installed 500KVA Transformers to every Community/Ward/Village in his Federal Constituency. Do not forget that he has the largest Federal Constituency in Nigeria, yet he was able to write his name in the sands of time.
8. Dr. Jones Onyereri is the only man in Orlu Zone that gave PDP LGA Chairmen of his Federal Constituency vehicles Immediately they were elected as Party Chairmen of his Federal Constituency during his days at the Green Chamber.
9. Dr. Jones Onyereri, was the only Reps member in Orlu Zone that was paying all the Traditional rulers of his Federal Constituency monthly stipend.
10. Dr. Jones Onyereri was the only Reps member that was taking his Constituents on Pilgrimage Annually, etc.
11. BILLS AND MOTIONS: His bills and motions are second to none. It was one of his numerous bills in the banking sector that saved you and I and the banks from going bankruptcy and experiencing liquidation in Nigeria.
Mmiri Na Anwu is coming to do more for Ndi Orlu Zone.
