The WINNER of May 25th/26th, 2022 Imo PDP most CREDIBLE, TRANSPARENT, FREE AND FAIR Primary Election ever held in Nigeria and 2023 Candidate for Imo West Senatorial District (Orlu Zone), Rt. Hon. Jones Onyereri, Ph.D, returned to his home state, Imo, after the 13th January, 2023 Supreme Court Judgement on the cases instituted against him, PDP and INEC by Hon. Jerry Alagbaoso and Dr. ThankGod Ezeani, respectively.

Candidates of PDP in the forthcoming general election was received by an overwhelming throng of sons and daughters of Imo West Senatorial District (Orlu Zone) amidst mixed feelings.
Addressing gentlemen of the Press at the Airport and at his Owerre Nkworji Country home, Dr. Jones expressed shock over the judgement of the Apex court in the land after court of first instance and appeal court had earlier upheld his victory in affirmation as it concerns the obvious insecurity in Orlu Zone where so many families have abandoned their homes and relocated due to incessant threat to lives and properties in the zone.
This prompted the relocation of the PDP Primary Election which was unanimously agreed under black and white by all the then aspirants across the state as other political parties also held their primaries in same state capital, Owerri.
Speaking further, he informed the good people of Orlu Zone of getting due justice at the right time as there is a time and season for everything under the sun.
The highlight of the fantastic reception was the reassurance given to Dr. Jones Onyereri and his campaign family by the LGA Party Chairmen, Women leaders, Youth Leaders, Ward Chairmen and other leaders of Orlu Zone as they also submitted their supplications to God Almighty to clean up their tears with Dr. Jones Onyereri through throne of authority for the well-being of all and sundry.
